Smallholder farmers in Kenya lacked affordable access to expert advice, quality inputs, and on-site services like soil testing. Knowledge and market access gaps were compounding poor yields.
Co-founded FarMight and led all technical decisions as CTO — designed a multi-sided marketplace where farmers could book expert consultations, procure agricultural inputs, and schedule on-site services. Led architecture from inception to investor pitch stage.
Pitched to investors in early 2024 for $25,000 in seed funding, with a beta running through 2024–2025 while modelling for scale across Kenya. The venture wound down in April 2025 when the VC funding environment collapsed and the seed round did not close.
